You are the dark ocean bottom, and I am, the fast sinking anchor.

Anyone, and everyone who knows me, knows I LOVE the nautical look. I embody it; the look just screams "sarah!". Hahaha! I finally found a cute nautical skirt at H&M that didn't look toohaunted on me!



So, I started with a bubble hem skirt, which usually I'm not a big fan of, but it sort of worked this time. I paired it with a loose fitting white tank, and a navy blue half cardi. Worn with little studded sandal booties of course!



For accessories, I wore a three strand pearl bracelet, with nautical charms, and topped off with a cream ribbon!

You can't be everything you want before your time.

This past weekend was my high school prom. Hello graduation!

So, for my dress, I had a long cyan blue dress. Empire waist, with detailing on the bodice. It fit absolutely perfectly.



I had really simple accessories. I had swarovski crystal starfish earrings, which I don't have a picture of, but they're medium sized, and stud like. I had a matching hair clip with it, but I ended up having extensions in my hair, so the clip would have shown all the tracks!





I also wore my Irish ring, which again, I don't have a picture of! My shoes were silver and had little brooches on them that matched my bodice. I really didn't want to look over the top, which a looooot of people tend to do, and it just ends up looking really tacky.
All in all, I was really happy with my outfit :)

Topknots? Ummmmm yes please ! I'm in a total topknot-obssesive state. They look way too awesome AND they beat the summer heat !

Got my belt a couple of years ago at an Buffalo outlet up-north. Had these bracelets for many years, they're worn almost daily. I usually wear a lot more all piled on one wrist but I changed it up today.

Hello blogging world :)

Today, Melina and I decided to take a little walk in the nature park buuuut what's the fun of it if we don't look somewhat decent!
















It was hot and sunny today, so I decided to wear a floral dress, with a periwinkle blue braided belt (which I later took off) and my bootie-sandles.


It was actually a pretty amazing day! I wanted to work on evening out my tan... not that I believe in tanning of course (skin cancer!), but I had sort of a farmer's tan going on! I assure you that I used SPF 30 :)


Towards the end of the day, we headed downtown for lunch since I was in desperate need of some books before I leave on my trip. I picked up Classic - An It Girl Novel, Something Borrowed, The Undomesticated Goddess and Twenties Girl. I just picked up some easy summer reads, nothing too serious! My brain needs a break after all my exams!


Besides that, Melina and I picked up some Cherry exfoliant from The Body Shop. I've used it before, and it's definitely not my favorite, but it's not bad either! They were on sale for 10 dollars each because they're leaving the collection! I also got a cute little cardigan to match my new nautical skirt, but updates on that next time!
